One sweet redhead

Oh my gosh...this little sweetie came yesterday for her one year portraits. Sometimes I get babies that are shy and want nothing to do with me (or the cake they are supposed to make a nice mess of) but not her. She held out her arms to me as soon as she got here and smiled(almost) the entire time. That is until we sat the cake down...then she got busy in her own little world of cupcake heaven:)

Goodbye summer...

I always think of the end of summer as the day before the kids go back to school. Not the official end date in September. I hope you all had a great summer! I'm usually ready for the kids to go back to school but not this year. I wish it could have lasted a little longer. Here are a few pictures from our vacation to Oak Island in June. I would also like to introduce you to my sweet neice Alyssa...

She's almost 9 months old and get's cuter every minute. Are you happy now mom? My mother has been ragging me since last November to get Alyssa on here, so I've just made my mom very happy;) I'm a procrastinator and that's just the way I roll.

Just a reminder to all my regular customers: I only have a few Saturday appointments available between now and Christmas so call me to set up your sessions! I still have plenty of weekday mornings open right now.

Mother's Day is coming!

This couple is so in love with their new baby boy and it shows. I don't think I have EVER seen a newborn look so much like their Dad either! I would like to thank the parents for trusting me with their little one at two weeks of age...these are my favorite sessions!
